When we originally rescued Sasha from the shelter she had been confiscated from her last owner because of cruelty. That was 3 years ago, but unfortunately her adopted family just returned to a local shelter because of cost reasons. Sasha has Luxating Patellas which is basically when her kneecap slides out and she can't bend her leg. In its mildest form, Grade 1, the kneecap can easily slide back in on its own. Unfortunately one of Sasha's Luxating Patellas is a Grade 3 and without surgery to correct it, she will have a difficult time walking and may eventually have pain in her leg. We have the surgeon lined up to do the surgery, we just need your help in paying for it!!
Any donations would be very welcome to help us cover this unexpected cost for Sasha. We try not to ask our supporters for money often, but this girl has had such a tough life so far, we want her to have a bright future! Despite everything that has happened to her, Sasha still has a very sunny and happy disposition and she is friends with everyone she meets!
. You can also call our vet, the Spot Spay and Neuter Clinic, and donate directly to Rescue Farm's account, (765) 795-4336. All donations are tax deductible!! Thank you and please share so we can get the help that Sasha needs!!
