Fresno City College Campus Reopens on February 5th, 2026: A Message from the President
Dear FCC Community,
We are thrilled to announce that the Fresno City College campus will be reopening on Thursday, February 5th, 2026. We understand that the recent severe issue with the college's main water lines has caused significant disruption and inconvenience. We want to assure you that we are taking all necessary steps to address this situation and ensure the safety and well-being of our faculty, staff, and students.
Further testing on the water lines to Building A is currently underway. In the meantime, we advise that faculty, staff, and students avoid drinking the tap water in Building A until additional testing is completed and we receive the results. The restrooms in Building A are operational and may be used. Please follow the guidance posted on signs throughout the building.
We sincerely appreciate the patience and understanding shown by our community during this challenging time. We would like to extend our gratitude to the Building Services Department for their unwavering commitment and support. Their hard work and dedication have been instrumental in facilitating the necessary repairs and ensuring the campus is ready for reopening.
Sincerely,
Denise Whisenhunt, J.D.
President
Fresno City College
